Anti-Inflammatory Friday 8-30-2024
How are you fairing so far in this back-to-school season? It always requires a bit of planning, preparing, mixed with just the right amount of flexibility.
And that's what I love about this powerful quote I want to share.
But first, let's talk about boosting your family's immune system.
Anti-Inflammatory HEALTH TIP
Enter GARLIC 🧄
Garlic is packed with compounds like allicin, which helps fight off the common cold and other infections.
How to Use It: Add raw or lightly cooked garlic to your meals. Raw garlic retains more of its active compounds, making it a powerful immune booster.
A Note on Preparation: To maximize its benefits, let it sit for about 10 minutes after chopping or crushing it before cooking. This allows the allicin to fully develop, enhancing its immune-boosting properties.

Anti-Inflammatory MINDSET
“A positive mindset won't carry you to victory, but a negative one guarantees defeat.” – Shane Parrish
As the school year kicks off, it's easy to focus on the challenges our kids might face –new classes, tougher subjects, and the inevitable bumps along the way. But just like your health journey, their success is about having the right plan in place and approaching each obstacle with the belief that they can learn, grow, and overcome.
A positive mindset sets the stage for resilience and growth, both in the classroom and in life. So, when those first report cards come home, remind your kids (and yourself) that every challenge is just an opportunity in disguise.
