My Must Have Pregnancy Items

Sharing my must have pregnancy items with you today because I remember the first time I was pregnant and felt completely clueless as to what I needed or what was essential. You may be on your third or fourth pregnancy and already have your favorites. Comment below and let me know. I’m always ears and love hearing what other pregnant mamas are using.

Currently 25 weeks pregnant and these items have been vital during my pregnancy so far. And I hope it helps you decide what you need and what may not be as important.

My Must Have Pregnancy Items

1. Bravado Body Silk Nursing Bra

You may be thinking, why do you need one while you’re pregnant? As your body grows during pregnancy, so do other parts of your body ;) and my normal bras become uncomfortable so instead of buying another bra I won’t use again I just go straight for the nursing bra!

This is something I highly recommend splurging on. I went through a lot of different nursing bras with London and they were all so uncomfortable. I finally splurged with Iylee and bought a Bravado Nursing Bra and it was a game changer. They are incredibly comfortable, nursing or not and I have basically lived in it. I plan to grab another one too before baby arrives.

2. Low-Panel Maternity Skinny “Jeans”

Okay, these are actually leggings but totally look like jeans. They are seriously the most comfortable pair of maternity pants I own. When I was pregnant with London, I thought I had to spend a lot of money on maternity clothes because that meant better right?! I spent a fortune on jeans that aren’t even my favorite anymore.

With my first two pregnancies I was all about the full-panel pants. I thought I didn’t like the low-panel but I find myself going back to it over and over again with this pregnancy. Find what works best for you but I’m telling you, these jeans from Old Navy are so comfy and you’ll be living in them your whole pregnancy!

3. Cocokind Skin Butter

This is a brand that I come back to over and over to again. I love their facial cleansers and moisturizers so it was an obvious choice for me to grab their skin butter to moisturize my growing and oftentimes itchy belly (The joys of being pregnant in the winter!). When I was choosing something to put on my belly it was a must for the ingredients to be quality and ingredients I know and trust. Thankfully, their skin butter is made of only 4 ingredients and it leaves my skin feeling silky smooth. I use it right after the shower and as needed on my belly.

4. Elemental Water Bottle

Drinking water is so important whether you are pregnant or not but even more so when you’re pregnant. And to ensure that I’m getting enough water in throughout my day I am never without a water bottle. Elemental’s water bottles are my absolute favorite because it has a straw, doesn’t leak, and keeps things cold. Drinking water from a straw always helps me drink more water and if you’re looking for more tips on how to have a healthy pregnancy be sure to read my blog post about it here.

5. Blanqi Everyday Maternity Belly Support Leggings

Don’t walk, run and get yourself a pair of these leggings. They are silky smooth, comfortable and you’ll definitely get your money’s worth. I wear mine almost every single day (when I’m not wearing the low-panel skinny jeans!). You can dress them up or down. And they stay put, I’m not constantly pulling them up and adjusting them. They are true to size, I’m in a small, and I so wish I had these with my last two pregnancies! I wasted so much money on cheap leggings that were poor quality, thin, and always falling down. These are definitely a pregnancy staple.

6. New Chapter Perfect Prenatal Multivitamin

This is the very first purchase I make when I’m planning to be pregnant (if we’re lucky enough to plan ;) ) or when I find out that I’m pregnant. A good prenatal multivitamin is a must when you’re pregnant. And don’t think all prenatals are created equal. Look for one that’s organic, non-GMO, no sugar added, and free from synthetic fillers. Everything we put in our body goes to baby so it’s important what ingredients are in the foods and vitamins/supplements we use. If you want more info about why choosing a quality prenatal is important, what to look for, and the benefits of taking I wrote a whole blog post about it here.
