Watermelon Popsicles
It's S U M M E R!!!!
School is out and we are celebrating with some homemade popsicles! It is always so fun to create something in the kitchen with the girls. Iylee so wants to be involved and I love having her little fingers help with her big sis.
These popsicles have been talked about for a few weeks now. I still remember the first time I made them with London, she was Iylee's age and we've been making them every summer since! London kept asking when we could buy a watermelon so we could make them and we finally got the chance to. Popsicles are a staple in the summer but store-bought popsicles are basically sugar so I love that the girls can still enjoy these fruit-filled popsicles on hot summer days.
Ingredients:
1 cup of cubed watermelon
1/2 cup blueberries
1/2 cup sliced strawberries
Directions:
Blend watermelon and then pour juice into popsicle molds. Add blueberries and strawberry slices then fill rest with watermelon juice. Put in freezer until frozen.
***You can add whatever fruit you want! We also LOVE using kiwi and mango!
