Anti-Inflammatory Friday 3-7-2025

PSA: This Sunday, March 9, we're springing forward!📣

Sunday is the start of Daylight Savings Time, which means you'll need to set your clock forward an hour.

I know, I know... losing an hour of sleep isn't fun.

But the extra evening daylight is a gift!

Longer days mean more time to go for a walk, ride your bike, or just soak in some sunshine.

Anti-Inflammatory HEALTH TIP

🌞With Daylight Savings Time providing longer evenings, it's the perfect time to take advantage of natural sunlight.

The benefits of sunlight exposure:

  • Plays a key role in regulating circadian rhythms, helping improve sleep quality, boosting energy, and supporting overall health.

  • Naturally increases serotonin, enhancing mood and reducing stress.

  • Encourages mindful eating and relaxation.

Try this: This weekend, set time aside to spend at least 15 minutes in natural light each day.

It’s a small habit that will improve your sleep, mood, and overall health.

Anti-Inflammatory MINDSET

😌 When life feels overwhelming, sometimes the best thing you can do is step outside and let the sun hit your skin.

Sunlight is a natural stress reliever.

Try this: Step outside today, even for a few minutes. Close your eyes, take a deep breath, and soak in the light.
